To commemorate the centenary anniversary of the Treaty of Versailles, The National Archives Education Service will be running a special event of taught workshops. KS4 Students will have the opportunity to evaluate and interpret original documents about the Treaty, considering what these records reveal about the difficulties of making peace. Students will look at the diplomatic process that was at play, as well as contemporary reactions to the Treaty reflected in the global press.
In the afternoon, students will have the opportunity to look at some original documents that cover some of the flashpoints during the course of the First World War, and use these as inspiration to create their own Zines.
We have limited space on this study day so please do get in touch if you are interested in bringing your class.Book Now
