1872
On 4th January, William is sentenced to one month in Wandsworth prison.
1881

William appears on the new census, aged 20. He has moved with his parents to George Street, Battersea, about 10 miles from Richmond. William is a bricklayer, like his father and younger brother.

William marries, aged 21 Louisa Johnson, also 21. They are living at 44 Tugela Road, Battersea.

1891
