Can you believe your eyes? : Using film as evidence in history.

These films are probably the most difficult to categorise as they might be called information or propaganda films. Documents from the Ministry of Information in WW2 show that one of the aims of British official films was not to appear to look like official films. This example from the Second World War clearly illustrates this point.
