Key stage 3

Focus On Domesday can be used with key stage 3 pupils in year 7. It can form part of a study of the impact of the Norman Conquest and on the structure of medieval society.

Objectives

National Curriculum

History Study Unit (8) Britain 1066 - 1500. A study of major features of Britain’s medieval past: the development of the monarchy, and significant events and characteristic features of the lives of people living throughout the British Isles, including the local area if appropriate.
