The National Archives exhibition The First World War makes available online a selection of unique and richly varied source material on the First World War.
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has a database of the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died during the two world wars.
The Imperial War Museum hosts the online exhibition War in the Air.

The RAF Battle of Britain History Site includes a Roll of Honour and a section detailing the aircraft used by the RAF, Luftwaffe (German Air Force) and the Reggia Aeronautica (Italian Air Force) during the Battle of Britain.
