The National Archives is committed to trading in line with the principles of the Information Fair Trader Scheme administered by the Office of Public Sector Information.
We will grant appropriate licences wherever possible but please note that we may refuse a licence in certain circumstances including the following:
If you wish to complain about any aspect of the handling of your application for a licence please contact Daniel Jones
, Head of our Licensing Department. If you are still dissatisfied having followed all the stages of our internal complaints system, you may apply to the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI)
who investigate complaints under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005 which apply to The National Archives as a member of the Information Fair Trade Scheme (IFTS).
