OVILLERS 57D SE4: Edition 2B.

This map was corrected on 11 June, 1916, then on 27 April and yet again in minor ways a day later. Right in the centre of the map is La Boisselle situated between the famous Sausage and Mash valleys. This was what the area was like just before the attack of 1 July. Readers will be fascinated by the depth of the German defence lines and will wonder at the objectives of ‘tefirst’. Scale of 1:10,000.
