National Manuscripts Conservation Trust

The National Archives administers the National Manuscripts Conservation Trust. The Trust provides grants towards the cost of repair, binding and other preservation measures, including preservation microfilming and can cover the cost of contract preservation and conservation or the salaries and related expendable material required for a project.
