We offer advice and services that are supportive of the archival community in acquiring material and as well as promoting the new accessions of the major collecting bodies.

In this section we provide advice on the content and purpose of collecting polices, information on deposit agreements for privately owned material and an introductory memorandum to surveying records.

In the course of our work we monitor the sales of records through the auction houses and the private salerooms to alert collecting bodies of records on the market that complement their collections and we run Accessions to Repositories, an annual exercise to record the accessions of manuscript material by the main publicly accessible repositories in the country in the last year.
