A Year in Archives 2018

A Year in Archives 2018 brings together stories from organisations across the country, celebrating the innovative and exciting work happening in the sector.


The Finding Archives project has overseen the integration of content from the National Register of Archives (NRA), Directory of Archives (ARCHON), Access to Archives (A2A) and the Manorial Documents Register (MDR) into Discovery.

Major Archives Project Learning Exchange

The Major Archive Projects Learning Exchange (MAPLE) was set up in autumn 2007 to support organisations planning or managing large archive projects; primarily capital developments.

As we remember the centenary of the First World War we want to help archives across the country prepare for and mark this anniversary.

Fundraising for Archives

The Fundraising for Archives project ran between 2015 and March 2018, and provided training and support to those looking to grow the funding for their archive service.
