Help us unlock the nation’s stories
The National Archives wants to connect with the widest and most diverse audience possible, in as many ways as we can.
Right now we’re exploring our role in the 21st century, and the breadth of ways in which people like you might work with us.
Whether you access The National Archives regularly, or just have a passing interest in history or storytelling, we would like to invite you to come and help us develop ideas for how we might uncover the hidden stories together.
We’d love you to attend one of the following workshops:
Wednesday 4 September 2019 or Thursday 5 September 2019.
Both workshops will be held in a Central London location. We will serve refreshments and a light dinner on arrival from 17.30.
Get in touch
If you would like to attend the workshop, please start by completing the online form before Tuesday 27 August:
You do not need to prepare anything – we just need your time and thoughts!
Please note that the number of places for each workshop are limited, so we will confirm your place once we have received expressions of interest.
If you are travelling from outside the London area, we will be happy to discuss reimbursing reasonable travel expenses when receipts are provided.
The New Citizenship Project
We’ll be running the workshops in collaboration with the New Citizenship Project, a social innovation lab. You can find out more about them here.
Many thanks in advance – we look forward to working with you on this exciting project. This is just the start, but it will be your ideas and your experience that are going to make the difference. And by taking part, you will also be helping us realise our vision for Archives for Everyone.
