Online resources
The National Archives is committed to maximising online access to its resources and services. Accordingly, a variety of research aids and original records are available online. These enable the researcher to complete preliminary research before visiting The National Archives in person. With the vast and increasing number of online resources available you may find you do not need to visit at all.
