Online user advisory panel

We have established an independent panel to advise us on the development of The National Archives' online services.

Purpose of the panel

  • To advise The National Archives and its partners on matters of concern to users
  • To provide informed advice on any proposed digitisation projects
  • To provide informed advice on the development of any online service
  • To act as a communications channel between The National Archives and the user communities
  • To provide an independent assessment on specific elements of any online service as they are developed

Communication of information

To preserve the confidentiality of members, and to ensure the accuracy of public information, the minutes of the meeting should form the basis for any wider communication. Names of panel members will be shown on minutes.
