Description:

Original will of Robert Rowe of Leighland, Somerset, esq.; to son John Rowe, all land in Somerset and elsewhere, and copyhold land in Trull, Bishops Hull, and Wilton, parts of the manor of Taunton Deane, to be held in trust for him by Giles Chichester of Leigh, Somerset and Lawrence Bake of Old Cleeve, Somerset; to each daughter £400 at 21 years old or when married with trustees' consent; to three elder daughters, ten broad pieces of gold each, and youngest daughter Mary 20 pieces; to the poor of Old Cleeve, £10; residue to John Rowe as executor; appoints wife, cousin John Chichester of Arlington, esq., Richard Estcott the younger of Estcott Farm, Somerset, and John son of William White as trustees.
