Charter of Feoffment Humphrey, lord of Loskeshore -to- Henry, the chaplain A farthing of land with 10 acres, which he holds of William de Raleg', with all its appurtenances. Boundaries: From the angle of the ditch lying towards Hardinges crosse, on the south side of the land of Wytamore, and from that cross by the ditch which lies between the land of 'Smithapath' and the said land as far as the angle of Tidacume, and thus by the ditch which lies between the land of Comeswanede [?] and between the aforesaid 10 acres, as far as the fountain, and thus by the river as far as the ditch which extends to the angle where first the boundaries began To have and to hold to Henry and his heirs and assigns, of Humphrey and his heirs for ever. Rent 2s, to be paid at Easter and at St. Michael's And Henry is not to sell the land to religious houses or elsewhere, except to Humphrey, even if Humphrey will not give him so much for it as others would.
