Feoffment (indented) Henry Fortescue, esq., and John Adams To John Rowe, sergeant at law Lands, tenements, mills, etc. in Dartmouth, Hardneys, South Towne, Kyngeswere, Totnes Magna, Totnes Parva, Dartyngton, Northford and Capton, which they had lately had of the gift of John Rowe. Part of the said premises to go to John Rowe for the life of his son John Rowe the younger, and after his death to Mary, wife of John Rowe the younger for her life; the reversion of said premises and the rest of the premises, to go to John Rowe the elder for 60 years, and after his death, to John Rowe the younger, Mary his wife, and the heirs of his body. Failing these similarly, to Joan, wife of Roger Bluet, esq., Bridget, wife of William Frye, Joan, Mary, and the heirs of Alice Kendall, dec'd, late wife of Richard Kendall, esq., all daughters of John Rowe the elder.
