Feoffment to the uses of a Will Andrew Tope, clerk, and John Bagtor To William Stapelhill and Peter Colshill Messuages, lands, etc. in Kyngston, Sperkewyll, Beare - [all in Staverton], Newton Abbot, Kyngysbrygge, Doddebroke, Plymmouth and Lodiswill, which the said Andrew and John, together with Thomas Hext now dec'd, had of the gift of Thomas Barnehows. To hold to the said William and Peter, their heirs and assigns for ever, to the use of William Barnehous, son of the said Thomas, and for fulfilling his will, Attorneys: Henry Scotte and Richard Barnehous. Witnesses: John Hext, John Wolston, Roger Hokemor, Thomas Barnehous of Bayston, Robert Legge. Seals: 2 round, red, pendent seals, one broken. The other represents a scene with human figures, surrounded by legend. |
