Title: The Gertrude Bell Collection
Description:

Twelve notebooks containing archaeological notes - plans of churches and other sites; records of inscriptions (Arabic and Greek) etc. from Turkey, Iraq and Syria. One from 1905, five from 1907, four from 1909, one from 1911 and one probably from 1914.

One notebook and folder of loose sheets with altitudes and astronomical observations for Arabia 1913-14.

Also 1994 booklet by Lesley Gordon which accompanied an exhibition at the University of Newcastle.

RGS Correspondence block 1921-30 (D.G. Hogarth) refers to the deposition of some of Gertrude Bell's papers.
