Rents of £12 2s. 6d. there were recorded as held in jointure by Stephen de Segrave and Alice in Stephen's inquisition of 1325, and by Dec. 1343 they were was held for life by Stephen, a kinsman of John Lord Segrave. The reversion on Stephen's death was mentioned in the grant of Dec. 1343, but the holding was not recorded in John's inquisition as part of Margaret Marshal's jointure. Thomas de Mowbray's inquisition of 1399 describes the holding as 16 messuages and 10 virgates worth £8, and it was later held by the duchess Katherine.
