Loose photographs, newspaper cuttings, letters and memorial papers from the funeral and memorial service of Eric Walter Powell, (AC) who was killed in a climbing accident in the Valais Alps in Switzerland. His companions, Edward Vere Slater (AC), Hugh Edmund Ellit Howson(AC) and Charles Robert White-Thomson were also killed.

 

Contains: Photographs of the Cemetery and the funeral at Pontresina and of Eric Powell. Piece Ref: 1922/49/1.
