Alphabetical notebook in which members of the AC were invited to comment on the guides they had employed (ie the guides were entered alphabetically into the book). As several of the first entries under any letter are initialled by Leslie Stephen, it is possible that the idea for the book was his. From one of his entries it is possible to date the book to around 1866. |
