Bequest from A.W. Moore to his climbing partner Horace Walker. After Walker's death sent by his sister, Lucy Walker, to Colonel Courtenay Throckmorton, Moore's nephew. Presented to the AC by the Dowager Lady Throckmorton in 1954. See AJ 60, p.305.
