Assorted letters, mainly sent by Freshfield to Montagnier, and in part regarding Freshfield's life of de Saussure. There is other material in this file, which may have been put together after the Montagnier material arrived at the AC. This includes an offprint of an article written by Freshfield in 1888: "Ostern in Afrika". Also several copies of the page of correction prepared for the de Saussure biography. Dates: c.1918 - 1933.
