Series Title: Ladies' Alpine Club, 1907-1975

 

Scrapbook containing cuttings, photographs and printed ephemera (rules, circulars, menus from Club dinners etc.) relating to the foundation and running of the Ladies' Alpine Club from 1907 onwards. The Club was initially housed at the Lyceum Club, and was known interchangeably as the Lyceum Alpine Club. The scrapbook was probably begun in about 1910. This is one of two similar volumes (see also 1922/G11) Material has been pasted into the scrapbook at both ends.
