All official fuhrerbucher, containing testamonials from climbers and walkers who had engaged the Biners and Taugwalder as guides, except for the book of Josef Biner, which is a blank notebook containing testamonials. The final main entry in Marinus Biner's notebook is dated 1891, and the lastl two entries, dealing with alpine walks in search of botanical specimens, date from during and after WWI. Dates: J. Biner: July 1850 - July 1864 F. Biner: July 1858 - September 1874 I. Biner: July 1858 - October 1881 M. Biner: July 1883 - September 1891, 1916 Taugwalder: July 1883 - August 1898.
