Series Title: Original Fuhrerbucher Leather-bound pocket-book containing testimonials from climbers who had engaged Croz as a guide. There are only eleven testimonials in the book, and some of these are on loose leaves as subsequent pages have been removed. The final testimonial (July1862) is incomplete, and consists of only the date plus two lines at the bottom of a page, as following pages have been removed. Inside the front cover are a letter, photograph and note which suggest that the notebook was previously in the possession of Paul Payot. Dates: August 1857 - July 1862.
