Official Fuhrer-Buch issued by the Vallais Canton. Contains testamonials written by climbers who had engaged Imboden as a guide. Between pp. 60 and 61 a few small sheets from an ordinary notebook have been sewn in, containing testamonials written prior to the issue of this book. Roman Imboden was killed on the Lyskamm in September 1896 (see note by his brother Emil Imboden, p.90). Dates: August 1888 - July 1896.
