Series Title: Original Fuhrerbucher Official Fuhrer-Buch of Joseph Knubel, issued to him by the Vallais Canton in 1904. Contains entries written by climbers who has engaged Knubel as a guide. The first few pages (pp.34-65) contain entries copied out of an earlier notebook which date from 1896-1903, as Knubel was too young to have a Fuhrer-Buch in these years. A photograph of Knubel has been pasted opposite the title page. A photographic copy of all the written entries from this volume can be found at 1922/K24.
