Lavish leather wallet (English manufacture), gilt-stamped with Imboden's name, containing refill type notebook with almanac for 1868 pasted on rear cover. Contains testamonials written by climbers who had employed Imboden as a guide. Imboden has written his own name and the year 1869 inside the front cover, but the earliest entry dates from 1871. Dates: September 1871 - September 1882.
