Series Title: Original Diaries Large series of small volumes, each covering one or two years, containing details of climbing expeditions, as well as general diary entries. Four miscellaneous volumes in addition to the diaries have been interpolated into the main series. Tom Longstaff wrote an autobiography "This is My Voyage" (John Murray, 1950), which utilised climbing material from these diaries. Longstaff is notable for his first ascent of Trisul in 1907, which remained the highest peak attained for the next 21 years. He was also on the 1922 Everest expedition.
