Indentures of lease and release between Richard Lord the younger of Stratford-upon-Avon, shoemaker, and Susannah his wife, daughter and heir at law of John Bromley, late of Stratford-upon-Avon, tailor, deceased, of the first part John Cleaver of Stratford-upon-Avon, wheelwright and Elizabeth his wife, of the second part and Richard Ryal of Stratford-upon-Avon, blacksmith, of the third part, reciting that William Page of Stratford-upon-Avon, malt-maker, by his will dated 13 December 1726 devised to his wife Anne Page for life his tenements in Stratford; one at the east end of Chapel Lane in the tenure of William Hunt, the other by the Waterside, wherein the said William Page dwelt, formerly purchased of Mr. Haddock - upon his decease to the said John Bromley in trust inter alia for the benefit of the children of his sisters, Anne Parr, Elizabeth ....., Hannah Bolt and Katherine Fletcher. The said Anne Page being dead, the said Richard Lord and wife convey the house in Chapel Lane to the said Richard Ryal for specified uses.
