Copy of Court Roll of the Manor of Atherstone of Edward Repington Esq.

 

Surrender by Samuel Power of Atherstone, whitesmith, Francis Power, elder son and heir of the said Samuel by Elizabeth his late wife, deceased and Samuel Power junior, another son, to the use of himself for life and after to the use of his son Francis and, from and after his decease, to the use of Sarah Wheatley, one of the daughters of Samuel Wheatley, late of Badgley Ensor, yeoman, deceased, intended wife of the said Francis.

 

Endorsed by receipts dated 29 May 1734 for £30 by Samuel Power, money received from his brother Francis being two sums of £15 a piece payable to him and his brother Thomas deceased.

 

Also receipt, dated same day, for £15 received by Joseph Power of his brother Francis.
