Administration of will, with will annexed of Thomas Lucas of Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., dated 30 April 1625 bequeathing to Richard Lucas his brother for his life his brother William's house with lands held by Thomas Norman; to John Lucas his brother for his life his other land held by --- Fulford, with remainder to John son of the said John; to the said John Lucas, junior, his lease of 2000 years of land in Norton and Leachwicke; to his cousin John Lucas his lands at Hardwicke and a moiety of the house and land which Joyce Hunte is estated in; to Daniel Baker and William Smith his house, had of John Smythe, in Church Street or in the end of Chappell Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, in trust for the poor of Stratford; to his aunt Smith and his cousin Anne Collett 20 shillings each 'to buy her a ringe'; to Nathaniell Olney 'a child of my man's' £100; to the poor of Stratford after his funeral £5; for 'some Wilmcote stones...' for 'Mr. Smith his causeway' £5; his kinsman (nephew) John Lucas being residuary legatee, Richard Gibbard of Beerely and Edward Collett of Tanworth, executors, and Daniel Baker and William Smith overseers and witnesses.
