Description:

Grant from John le Barbur of Stratford and Margery his wife to John Coldelle of half a virgate of land in the fields of Clopton formerly held by John son of Nicholas Paletot, rendering yearly to the lord of Clopton a pair of white gloves of the value of one halfpenny and paying in hand to the grantors 2½ marks of silver.

 

Witnesses: Henry de Stodleye, Hugh de Clintone, William le Warde, John Whitesmith (Albus Faber), Henry le Wayte, John le Franc, Alan de Schottrethe and others.

 

Dated at Clopton Tuesday after Feast of St. Wulstan
