Description:

Copy will of Thomas Gray, grocer, of Stratford-upon-Avon, dated 3 November 1764, devising to Hanah Jeacocks his grand-daughter of Stratford aforesaid, his messuage in Bridge Street, Stratford, lately known as the Three Tuns and now in the tenure of John Murphey; to Dionysius Bradley of Old Stratford, all sums due on a mortgage of an estate at Clifford Chambers co. Glouc., late the estate of his, the testator's son-in-law Richard Salmon, in trust to pay the interest to Hanah Jeacocks and her sister Mary Salmon for life and then to their children or legal representatives; to his wife Hanah Gray his messuage in Sheep Street and his farm in Welford, co. Glouc., for life, with remainder to Hanah Jeacocks and Mary Salmon charged with a legacy to the latter of £200.

 

Witnesses: Samuel Jarvis, George Garwood, Martin Baggs.

 

Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury by Hannah Gray, widow and sole executrix.
