Release by Edward Clopton of Clopton, esq. and Martha his wife, to Richard Bannister of Fetter Lane, London, of the manors, lands, etc. as above, no. ER3/400, to lead the use of a Recovery of the same (together with a fine of other lands, part of the Hill Farm in Clifford, co. Glouc.) to be settled by the said Edward and Martha in consideration of a marriage between John Clopton, eldest son of Edward and Jane daughter of William Brearly late of Handsworth, co. Staff., gent.
