Assignment by Samuel Argoll of St. Martin's in the Fields, co. Middx., M.D., Thomas Argoll of Much Baddow, co. Essex, esq., and Edmund Tooke of Dartford, co. Kent, esq., to Adrian Queeny, citizen and drugster, and John Sadler, citizen and drugster, both of Bucklersbury, London, for £460 of a lease from Thomas Clopton of Clopton, esq., to John Crew of Utkinton, co. Chester, esq., of the manor of Ingon, alias Ington, in Hampton Lucey, and three closes called Poolasowe, Hoglasowe and the Ramme Close in the same, for 99 years dated 26 November 14 Charles I [1638], which premises were again leased on 27 November by John Crew to Thomas Clopton for 98 years and 11 months at a yearly rent of £40, both leases to be void by the payment by Thomas Clopton of £500.
