Description:

Lease for a year by John Clopton of Clopton esq., to Sir Edward Walker, Knt., Garter King of Arms, of the manors of Clopton, Bridgetowne, and Ryen Clifford, with all the manors, messuages, lands etc. conveyed to the use of Thomas Clopton, father of the said John by Joyce, Countess Dowager of Totness, by deeds of the 15 and 16 December 1633, and all the messuages, lands, etc., of him the said John in Clopton, Ingon alias Ingen, alias Ington, Bridgetowne, Stratford-upon-Avon, Ryen Clifford or elsewhere.
