Mortgage by John Kitchen of Shottery, 'plowright' to John Higgins of Alveston, yeoman, of two tenements with a close of half an acre in Shottery, heretofore in the tenure of Thomas Greene and now of the said John Kitchen, for 99 years, at a peppercorn rent to secure the payment of £30 with interest.
