Description:

Assignment by Francis Robinson of Stratford-upon-Avon, apothecary, to Rachel Fowler of Wimbston, alias Wilmeston, widow, of a lease from the Corporation of Stratford to Richard Taylor, 'cutler', dated 21 December 1723, of a messuage, etc. in 'Chappell Street' for 41 years at a yearly rent of 5 shillings and a couple of capons, which lease, with licence of the Corporation, was assigned by John Gamble of Coventry, pewterer, and Ann his wife, and Samuel Grosvenor of Coventry, weaver, and Mary his wife (the said Ann and Mary being executors of Richard Taylor) to Francis Robinson for £25 on 16 September 1728; the new assignment to Rachel Fowler being by way of mortgage to secure the payment of £20 with 10 shillings on 14 November ensuing.
