Articles whereby John Sharpe of Stratford-upon-Avon, 'Coller-maker' covenants to repair such part of the house of Symon Godwyn, farrier, in Bridge Street as he uncovered for the purpose of making a gutter for three bays of building newly erected in the rear of his own house adjacent, the said Symon covenanting to keep the other's 'housing' from any harm from building on his side; with bonds from John Sharpe in £40 for due performance. Witnesses: Thomas Scriven, Peter Holland, Thomas Sharpe, Richard Mullinex. Endorsed: 'Old Red Lion Inn etc. Arnolds.' |
