Lease by William Knight of Stratford-upon-Avon, jersey weaver, and Jane, his wife, to John Bartlett of Old Stratford, dyer, of a messuage etc. in Stratford-upon-Avon in Ely Street alias Swine Street, between the tenement of Mary Lyndon, widow, on the east, the tenement of Edward Hercule alias Hartford on the west, the gardens of Francis Haddock, gent., and --- West, widow, on the north and the said street on the south, for 99 years, at a peppercorn rent by way of mortgage for £30 to be repaid with £3.12.0 interest, by 21 December 1686.
