Mortgage by John Tissell of Stratford-upon-Avon, saddler, to John Hunt of Alveston, yeoman, of a lease for 41 years, dated 13 December 1758 from the Mayor, Aldermen, etc. of Stratford-upon-Avon of a messuage in High Street, late in the tenure of Henry Mathews and now in that of the said John Tissell, having the tenement of James Keating, bookseller, on the north and the 'King's Arms' late in the tenure of Elizabeth Toms, widow, on the south, to secure the repayment on 3 November following of £100 with interest at 4 per cent.

 

Witnesses: Dionysius Bradley, Robert Wheler.

 

With memorandum endorsed, 25 March 1760 of the receipt by John Hunt of the principal, £100, from Dionysius Bradley and covenant to assign to the latter the premises at his request.
