Probate of the will of Ann Hitchcocks of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow, dated 14 January 1755, bequeathing to William Hitchcocks and Thomas Hitchcocks, her sons, one shilling each, to Elizabeth wife of John Harris, all her wearing apparel with 5 shillings in lieu of a chest of drawers, to William, son of Thomas Hitchcocks, a trunk with three pair of sheets, etc. to her grandchildren John son of Richard Hitchcocks a silver cup and William, son of Richard Hitchcocks, a gold ring, to William son of Thomas Hitchcocks a gold ring and three pewter dishes and to her son Richard Hitchcocks £5; the residue of her estate to the same Richard in trust to pay the interest to her son Thomas for life, with remainder to her grandson, William Hitchcocks.

 

Dated 14 January 1755.

 

Witnesses: John Court, John Halford.

 

Probate granted in the Peculiar of Stratford-upon-Avon to Richard Hitchcocks.
