Charter from Joh. Wade, gent., and Ric. Over, son and heir of Hen. Over, grocer, deceased, and Will Phynnys, merchant, to Tho. Saunders, grazier; Geo. Jeynens, "sharman", Will Hyndman, butcher; Tho. Sewell, butcher; Rad. Prophett, baker; Ric. Saunders, butcher; Rob. Bagnall, mercer; Tho. Wylson, cardmaker; Rob. Hobson, butcher; Tho. Castell, cardmaker, in return for £86. 16s., of two messuages and a garden called "the Signe of the Crane" in Bishop-gate Street on the e. side of the street, betw. the town wall and the messuage in the holding of the Mayor, etc., now occupied by Clement Packwood, carpenter, and was in the holding of Joh. Kyllayne, weaver, and now or lately in that of Math. Arnold, weaver, and of an orchard in Bog Lane in the s. side, betw., the land of the late Tho. Kyrvyn, ald., mercer, and Ric. Sewell, butcher, deceased, and is or was lately in occupation of Mat. Arnold; and also of a messuage occupied by Joh. Wyldye, cardmaker, in Cross Cheaping, and between messuage of Mayor, etc., occupied by Will. Abbot, mercer, and that of Rob. Pulton, goldsmyth, in The Ombers' occupation, and stretching from the street to a messuage of Joh. Parker, grazier, formerly, and now of Rad. Bowne, alderman and capper; and also of 3 shops on e. side of Cross Cheaping, between messuage of Joh. Suzance, tailor, on s., and that of Hen. Collyns, sen. butcher, on n., and stretching from the street to messuage of Tho. Taylor, butcher, and that of Will. Wyse, and Eliz., his wife, now held by Will Cotton, lynen draper, and are in holding of Tho. Hurdys, Rog. Kyrvyn, Edw. Walker, fishmongers; and also of the reversion of the same messuages, etc., profits from Jan. 31, 3 Eliz., to the day of the making of these presents for their use and behoof. Tho.
