Conveyance by Edw. Villers and others, feoffees, Jos. Downes, head-chw. and receiver of rents, to Geo. Howlette, Esq., Mayor, and Tho. Carr, Eyer, commissioner under an Act for the better paving of the city, etc., for £200 of a piece of land in Smithford Street, where on stood a messuage taken down to afford a communication between Smithford Street and the Women's Market-place, in breadth of the n. side of the same street 6 yds. 5 in. and in length towards the Women's Market 33 yds. 6 in., premises late in occupation of Joh. Sanders, butcher, Jos. Downes, attorney.
