Lease fr. feoffees (see DR429/246) to Jos. Simcox, of Canley, gent., in consideration of £300 paid to Joh. Dugdale, Esq., chw., of lands and tenements in Allesley of Barr's Hill Close of a rent of 3s. 4d. issuing fr. a messuage in Cross Cheaping on w. side near the conduit, late in occupation of Mary Barker; and from a close in Dog Lane; and also a close and meadow in Little Horwell, in occupation, of Ric. Brockhurst, late in occupation of Sus. Barnard; and another close in Horwell in occupation of Will. Webster; for 99 years at a peppercorn rent, with certain rents on standing leases reserved.

 

Sign. and seals of feoffees. (Dorso) The tenants, Tho. King, Will. Webster, Ric. Brockhurst "atturn tenant" and pay 6d. John Dugdale acknowledges receipt, Hen. King, Caleb Hunt, and Rob. Hill witness signature.

 

Receipt Dec. 20, 1707, for £118 10s. in satisfaction of annunity and annulling mortgage. Witn., Will. Spicer, (?) Phillips.
