Description:

Quitclaim of Alice, grantor's mother, of all her right in the above land to the grantee.

The following deeds call for few comments. No.12 contains the first mention of the Derby family, who gave their name to Derby Lane. Evidently this family had some quarrel with Will "le Glasyere", and this is the compact or agreement between them that the affair should go no further. Hen. atte Boredstan (No.13) is a very curious name. I wonder if Henry's ancestors had lived near some great stone with a hole in it like the Men-an-tol near Penzance?
