Mortgage from Basil 6th Earl of Denbigh and William Robert Viscount Feilding to Edward Leeds of Lincoln's Inn Middlesex, a master in Chancery, of estates in Monks Kirby [Both originals have been damaged by damp and could not be properly inspected on this account], 22nd December. With an endorsement dated 17th June 1803 by which Edward Leeds' executor Nathaniel Barnardiston transferred the mortgage to Joseph Leeds esq., With an abstract of title of the Earl and his son to divers farms and lands in Monks Kirby, (1682-1787) and legal comment 1787. This contains a small pedigree of the Denbigh family from the time of the 3rd Earl's death in 1685. |
