Black and white group photograph of an unknown Army Service Corps Unit. A Driver G.H. Cooksley is standing centre in the lower rank, behind the Commanding Officer. The location may be Blackheath, London. Two accompanying letters [undated] from G.H. Cooksley, son of the aforementioned Driver Cooksley, contain some service information details on Driver Cooksley: he was a boy soldier prior to the First World War; he was then stationed at Blackheath, but also served in Salonika; his Army Number was T4/069786. |
